I've seen Caskets Open play live several times so far (latest was last Friday, 3th of Dec), and I have to say they rule for real. Great, catchy and interesting songs full of feeling, skill and the right kind of attitude. One of the best from Finland at the moment. Many thumbs up!
Here's a review written by me at Imperiumi.net (probably the biggest media for metal music in Finland):

And as the one above is in Finnish, here's a translation in English made by one of the band members from my review:
"If the sun doesn't explode tomorrow, since '07 active Caskets Open's debut LP "But You Rule" is probably going to be one of the best records of the year. The band gets their inspiration mainly from trad. doom, punk rock and hard core, and bands like Saint Vitus, Reverend Bizarre, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Mana Mana ant Misfits are mentioned in the influences.
Caskets Open's music could be characterised primarily a mixture of traditional doom and Type O-like vibes, where nicely buzzing mid-to-down-tempo meets quite rancid morbid-atmospheres. Promo-text mention of Joy Division coupling with Saint Vitus on a nightly graveyard is a good way of describing the content. When thinking the big picture and the style, sounds are just suitable, and the vocals sung through a small distortion hit the goal like "it" goes "there" wrapped in a kinky leather stuff.
All in all, we have here an original, atmospheric and damned well working product, which you gladly put back on in your record player again. Absolutely worth checking out if you like doom, as well as if you fancy the forementioned bands even a bit. This is only LP-release, no CD available. So, off you go to record player shop!"
