| For you Zeppelin fans, this site is a mind-f**k. It basically goes into incredible detail about how the Song Remains the Same album and movie was made and some of it is mind-blowing. Zeppelin fans would know that the film and album comes from the three days the band played at Madison Square Gardens. What most fans don't know is every song has bits from all three concerts spliced together to make the one track. Sometimes just 5 seconds of a track can have 3 or 4 edits in it. This site goes into detail into how it was made. Interesting but proves once and for all, what a fake live album and movie it is.

| I have read that site and it is freaky how heavily edited that album is. They even went as far as to edit Plant's song introductions word by word so the first word might be from the first night, the second word from the third night, the third word from the second night and so on it goes. |

Yeah they put the album together like a jigsaw puzzle. What most people don't know too is the album is 90% from the movie. It is funny most people don't even notice the difference._________________ http://www.doommantia.com |

Considering the source, I'm surprised that their failure rate was only 80%. Kerrang is garbage, pop "metal" media that doesn't have a clue about much of anything. |

Kerrang is the biggest sell out of all the metal media. It was pure heavy metal for its first years in the early 80's and then seemingly overnight mutated into one of the lamest mags of all time. WTF happened is a mystery, when they started they had the cream of metal writers (for that time) but then in about 10 years, it turned its back on metal and slowly turned into the pop/rock rag it is today. Really sad. But then again, the early 80's was full of great metal mags, Metal Forces, Kick Ass etc etc, now all gone, all now destroyed by the internet. The print media is dead._________________ http://www.doommantia.com |
