Ghost hunters and 99% of all shows that are like it are faked and dramatized. I know someone who works in the industry and he told me it is all camera effects, camera angles, and editing. In reality nothing happens at the places in they are investigating, they are just filmed in a way to make it look like something spooky is going down. You can Google this too and find a ton of evidence proving these shows are all fake along with the Repo shows, Pawn Shop shows, and pretty much everything that is on the MTV network. The shows can be entertaining but yes, incredibly fake in every detail.

Oh it can, I truly believe that the supernatural, ghosts and all can and do exist but it is rare when any of those shows capture anything real. Growing up, we live around the corner from a abandoned haunted house and you couldn't spend anymore than 5 minutes in there without getting the crap scared out of you. The place eventually got demolished because of all weird stuff that was happening in and around the house. One of the most common happenings was lights turning on and off when it had no lights nor any electricity hook-up. Used to see that happen at least once a month. There was even a documentary made on the place back in the 80's.

Actually, when I was living in Melbourne. I filmed a professional pilot for a reality show. It was hilarious, it was about these high rise window cleaners and we would film anything we could, then do a voice over to make it seem extra dangerous. During on of the shoots, one of the window cleaners through a cigarette butt down into a drainage pipe in the side of this building. It caught a bunch of leaves inside the pipe on fire, and soon all this smoke was pouring out of the side of the building. Naturally, I took advantage of this, and we made it seem like the whole building caught fire. It turned out looking great on camera, but was a load of BS.

I totally forgot about Game of Thrones! I really like it. The books are excellent and I find it fascinating to see how they attempt to transpose it to television.

Since I only have Netflix I have to wait for the next season of The Walking Dead to be released before I can watch it. The same goes for Law & Order: SVU. I don't know why I still watch that one however. If you've seen one episode you've seen them all. lol.

I just started watching 'How I Met Your Mother' and it's alright. Somewhat campy but it has some salacious moments mixed in.

Dexter is probably my favorite show of all time. Game of Thrones is up there too, so delightfully intriguing. TV shows are always best on DVD though.

Other than that, cartoons rule.

If you like zombies you'd like 'The Walking Dead'. Cartoons will always rule however!!

Have to throw my vote for the cartoons as well. I do have cable, but the majority of what I watch I have on DVD as I can't, I mean CAN'T, stand commercials. I believe more so than the crap in between them, commercials are the reason our society sucks.

Anyhoo, to list the shows I watch let me just walk over to my DVDs: Harvey Birdman, Samurai Jack, Venture Bros., Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, South Park, American Dad, Futurama, Duckman... then for "real" shows, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Curb your Enthusiasm, Mr. Show.

I don't watch too many shows. The ghost shows sometimes, the bigfoot show, the gold miner show, and the guy that eats the bugs and stuff. Usually what's on is I-Carly, Wizards of Waverly place, adn all those kids shows. My 9 yr old stepdaugther watches all those shows.

My kids watch Spongbob DVD's, sometimes all day long. I just bought another box set, the first 100 episodes, 14 DVD set which has a playing time of 38 hours.

Yeah there are a lot of inside adult humor in Spongebob that kids would never get but adults do which is why I can watch it if I have to. Some of it is actually pretty funny.

Old TMNT and Gargoyles were the best! I loved those shows. Too bad they're not going to release the rest of season two for Gargoyles. I really need to pick up the TMNT DVD's however. I've been jonesing for years!

My wife started watching a British show called 'Being Human' and so far it's not too bad. It's not as kick ass as Buffy but nothing is. I also decided to re-watch the entire Black Adder series. I had forgotten how much I loved that show.

I'm digging Archer. I'm kind of a late convert to the show and missed out on the first season and haven't taken the time to check it out yet. So far I think season 2 is a bit better than the current one, though the Burt Reynolds episode was pretty damn funny. Archer gets praised as the best animated show but for me it doesn't get any better than The Venture Bros. Can't wait for the new season.

I got caught up on this season last night, the end of "The Limited" almost had me in tears from laughing.
I need to start watching Venture Bros. I've only watched a few episodes ages ago.

I caught Venture Bros completely by accident when it first aired and I love it. I've got all 4 seasons on DVD. Archer is another that I'm really into as well. My brother-in-law turned me on to it and both my wife and I watch it when the new seasons come up on netflix. I'm planning on getting that series on DVD as well. I still need to get the latest Squidbillies and Aqua Teen. Adult Swim has really stepped it up in the last few years.

Started watching South Park from season 1 onwards. At season 7 already, I always forget how consistently hilarious this show has been from the beginning.

Haven't really watched the last season of SP. From what I saw it wasn't really that good. Everything from season 1 to about 10-11 was great.

I have been watching South Park. It has been good but it has lost its edge slightly. I get the feeling they are finally starting to run out of ideas for the show.

Well, they've been talking about ending it since their 2nd season, but it's one of those things that won't stop as long as comedy central is throwing money at them.

I think it is also the world keeps giving new people and events to make fun of so they have kept it going. I hope it doesn't end anytime soon as I love the show but it is starting to get stale.

Don't get me wrong, I actually think South Park has stayed amazingly funny for how long it's been on, and I don't want it to end either. But it will eventually become the Simpsons.

I doubt that. I could be wrong but I think they're committed to making a couple more seasons then it's over. From what I've seen/read in interviews they view it as a boring job. You'd think writing/creating/voicing one of the biggest shows ever they'd be eternally grateful but they aren't. It takes all kinds I guess.

Yeah, and Mike Meyers said he wouldn't make any more Austin Powers movies, but another one is coming out. If someone is willing tthrow millions at you, why WOULDN'T you do something even if you don't reallly want to? I've heard the "couple more seasons" thing from Matt and Tre for a long time, yet they're still going.

Again, I love the show. Its just that it will get carried beyond it's natural lifespan by it's own momentum.

I watched a documentary on the history of Aussie films. Those people are nuts. What a Face They do enjoy their nude women however and I do have a profound respect for that.

You should have lived there in the 70's. Back then Australia had very little censorship so it was quite normal to see a totally naked woman on TV at any time of the day. There was a soap opera called The Box back then they would feature naked females on almost every episode. It is a bit different now but I grew up seeing that stuff. Maybe that is why I am such a perv now lol.
