PostSubject: A heavy Seattle band you may not have heard yet...   Mon Jun 21, 2010 12:20 pm

Please check out the band Roareth: http://www.myspace.com/roareth

Our new CD has been mastered and is in route to be duplicated. A video of a new track (from that unreleased recording) has been put together and is up now on our profile page for yer audio and visual pleasure... with samples of each of the six tracks posted in our Mp3 player. A big thanx to Tad Doyle for making our studio experience so wondrous.

Roareth includes ex and current members of Requin, Eshas, shoit Gets Smashed, Himsa, Aphiskkyu-Bot, Grievous, Iamthethorn, the Mark Sparkles, Hauler, Touch Me Satan, 976-Murder.

The Maple Forum label's first release is "Acts I-VI" from Seattle’s Roareth, coming in June. The disc will be in a gatefold digisleeve, hand-numbered in a run of 100 copies. Over 45 minutes of dynamic doom and epic heaviness. Out this June.

Please check us out and let us know what you think.

Thanx for yer time.

I love you guys! Saw you at the doom-fest, absolutely crushing performance.

The album is great, I love the whole dynamic of the band, great use of sound clilps and the wierd sounding strings. I love how you play some riffs clean-tone, but still retain a huge, heavy sound without distortion.

They are a killer band. Should be a household name by now in the underground after their classic debut album but it kind of flew under the radar. Beats me why, I think it is a mind-blowing album.

I would guess it's because it was only printed in 100 copies. A lot more people need to hear that album in my opinion.
